Jalosydän Socks

The idea for the Jalosydän series started with a dress. I wanted to design a slightly different yoke dress where the pattern focuses on the waist rather than the yoke. At the time of the sock pattern release, the dress pattern is still in test knitting, but it will be available in early March 2025.

Once the dress was completed, I received many requests for a sock pattern to match the Jalosydän series. Your wishes have come true—the sock pattern has now been test knitted and published! The pattern includes two calf sizes.

Sizes:

EU 36–43

Calf circumference at the widest part of the colorwork:

Narrower calf: 31 cm

Wider calf: 36 cm

Leg height: 27 cm

Yarn Requirements:

A 084 Heather (Kotini Wool Blend) – 90 g, 100 g

B 0099 Soot (Novita 7 Veljestä) – 70 g, 80 g

C 010 Natural White (Novita 7 Veljestä) – 30 g, 30 g

D 053 Berry Porridge (Novita 7 Veljestä) – 80 g, 80 g

DPNs size 3.5 mm

Stitch markers

Tapestry needle

Gauge:

10 cm x 10 cm = 18 sts and 26 rows in stockinette stitch with 3.5 mm needles
